Directions
STANDARD ROUTE
It is recommended that you follow a route to Penzance
via the A30. On the outskirts of Penzance, take the
short length of by-pass leading to a roundabout, just
beyond the Penzance Heliport to your right. At this
roundabout, follow the 'A30 Land's End, St Just' signs,
taking the exit up the hill. Carry on straight over
two more roundabouts, still on the A30. At the third
roundabout take the third exit signposted to Pendeen
(A3071). Carry on along here for almost four miles.
(1) Take the right fork, signed Pendeen (B3318).
(2) Turn right at the cross-roads onto the B3306 towards
St Ives and Zennor. Almost immediately take the first
turning to the right into a tarmac lane, twisting round
to your left and down to a mini T junction, having just
passed over a stream. Turn right up an unmade up track.
Stone Farm Cottage is at the end on the right.
SCENIC ROUTE
From the A30 roundabout to St Ives
, take a right turn towards the Lelant roundabout at
the bottom. Take the first turning on the left and proceed
for 3 miles uphill passing initially the Watermill pub
on your right and John Fowler holiday cottages further
up the hill also on the right. At the T-junction at
the top, turn right for Halsetown and St Ives. Proceed
for 2 miles going downhill until you reach another T-junction
adjacent to a round house restaurant on your left. Turn
left onto the B3306 to St Just road heading out of St
Ives in a south westerly direction for 10 miles, on
Britain’s voted most scenic car journey, to Pendeen. The
Atlantic will always be on your right, and you will
pass the villages of Zennor, hamlet of Gunnards Head
and Morvah before arriving into Pendeen. Just immediately
before the sign saying Pendeen on your left , take a
left turn into a tarmac lane, twisting round to your
left and down to a mini T junction , having just passed
over a stream. Turn right up an unmade up track. Stone
Farm Cottage is at the end on the right.
